Beached

The pain. Her body was ripping apart. She lay on the beach next to her home. Her eyes slowly closed as the sun peeked over the horizon.

He had walked this beach behind his home every morning.  In his 20s. Nicely built with chocolate brown eyes. The sun had risen enough to light his way, but it was still a bit cold. The waves lapped at his feet as the last of the nocturnal crabs scurry to their holes.

Although he had always walked the same path, his eyes always roamed the beaches searching for something. He surveyed the beach ahead and spotted something.

"An animal?" He hurried his pace. "No, not an animal." He broke into a run as the sun revealed the pink flesh of a young girl.

She was lying on the beach with her back to him. Her tangled hair stuck to her skin in cords. She wore nothing.

"Hello?" He called as he got closer. "Oh god." He knelt beside her. "Hello?!"

She opened her eyes to a squint for a moment. They were as blue as the ocean itself. He hastily gathered her up in his arms and returned to his house.

---

The sun shown brightly through the window of his large bedroom. He had sat by her side much of the day. He had dressed her in one if his old shirts. He felt odd dressing an unconscious girl but  convinced himself he was only being helpful. He then carefully tucked her into his bed.

Her ocean blue eyes flitted open. "Where am I?" She tried to find the words to speak. She sat up quickly and studied her surroundings. Her eyes fell upon him. "Who are you?" She silently demanded.

"Good, you're awake." He smiled. "No don't be afraid. I found you on the beach. I want to help." He stood up and went to her bedside. "My name is Jeffery."

"Jeffy?!" She said outloud, surprising herself.

'Close enough.' Jeffrey thought to himself. "Do you have a name?" Jeffrey inquired.

She cocked her head to the side. Her stomach made an audible grumble. She rubbed her stomach and looked at Jeffrey longingly.

"You're hungry?" Jeffrey laughed. "I'll be right back."

She watched him leave and crawled to the edge of the bed. She had spotted something shiney across the room and wanted to investigate. She placed a tenative foot on the floor. Then the other. She turned around and oushed herself up. She tested her balance first then made her way to the object.

There was a girl trapped in it. She reached out to touch her but was stopped by something hard. The girl copied all her movements. She even looked like her. Wait, it was her.

"What is this hideous covering?" She thought. She fought with the shirt until it finally fell to the floor. She stood before the object and inspected her reflection. She turned to the side and looked at her profile. Her back was arched but her stomach more that made up in the front. She could just lock her fingers in front of her. She was small. No more than five feet tall. Almost like someone had resized a taller person. Her hair was dirty blonde and still matted.

"I didn't know what you liked so... You found the mirror.... And lost your clothes." Jeffrey set down the tray of food and let her back to the bed. He struggled with her to get the shirt back on.

"Jeffy!" She protested.

"Right, Jeffy, clother of pregnant amnesiatic girls." He put the tray in front of her.

Bread, ham, cheese, soup and other items were on the tray. She inspected each item. After she was satisfied with her inspection she dunked the bread into the soup and crammed in into her mouth greedily. She continued with the rest of the food on the tray in the same manner. dripping soup everywhere.

"I needed to wash those sheets anyway."

She finished the last item and sighed contentedly. "Jeffy" she cooed as she slid under the covers.

Jeffrey quietly picked up the tray. He decided to call missing persons. Surely someone was looking for her.

Missing person's offers to keep her in a hospital until her family was found but Jeffrey wouldn't have it. He had more than enough room in his big house and company would be nice. He felt responsible for her.

"Jeffy. Jeffy. Jeffy. Jeffy. JEFFY!?" She awoke several hours later and barked. She pouted her lip and carressed her stomach when Jeffrey came in.

"Hungry again?" He turned and left the room.

She crawled out of the bed. She tip-toed after him awkwardly. His shirt slowly rose up with every step she took until her whole stomach was exposed. She followed him for a while until he finally came to a stop in the kitchen.

"Jeffy!" She clung to his arm and purred.

"You couldn't wait in the room?" He laughed and pulled down her shirt. "I think we'll need to go shopping tomorrow. You sit there." Jeffrey pried her off his arm and put her in a chair. "I'll get you something to eat." He rumaged through his refridgerator. Several bottles of expensive wines were stored oddly close to a bachelor's diet of easily prepared foods and sandwich fixings.

"What should I call you?" He gather a few items and placed them on the counter.

"Elu.." She purred and tranced the line down her stomach.

"Elu? Is that you're name? " Jeffrey started bringing food over to her.

"Elu Elu Elu Elu .." She looked up at him and giggled. "FOOD!"

"So you can talk?" He blinked as she grabbed the plate from him and began to wolf it down.

"Food food. Elu food" She spat particles of food out as the talked. "Jeffy Elu food.." She paused for a moment and grabbed Jeffrey's hand. "Baby."

Jeffrey's pupil's dialated. He felt the movement under his hand and blushed. He pulled his hand away. "Do you know when it's coming?"

Elu shook her head slowly.

"Ok so shopping and a doctor visit."

The next morning Elu woke up bright and early, and hungry. Jeffrey was already up and making breakfast. Afterwards he would go on his normal walk. But now he had someone to share it with.

After a short struggle Jeffrey had managed to get Elu to wear a pait of his biker shorts. Over night she had taken his shirt off again. He tried to put it back on her but it seemed, somehow, smaller.

"That's ok, I have more shirts." Jeffrey rummaged through his closet and pulled out another shirt. Elu protested once more but let him put it on her. Together they walked the path to the beach.

Elu, despite he size, skipped happily along the waters edge. She waded into the water until it was at her knees and stopped. Jeffrey watched her curiously. She stood in the same spot for quit a while, watching the horizon.

"Come on Elu. We have to get to the doctor's office early. They said they could get you in before their morning appointments."

"Jeffy!" Elu turned and trotted over to him.

There was no one in town at this hour. Only the nurses and Doctor was in the office.

"I'm glad you could see her, Doctor." Jeffrey led the wide eyed Elu to the examination room.

"That's ok, Jeffrey." The Doctor seemed well aquainted with him.

Jeffrey Helped Elu onto the table.

"This will be cold." The doctor explained as he lifted her shirt.

Elu watched his every move. Her eyes darted from Jeffrey to the Doctor quickly. She squirmed as the gel was cold. "Cold" She murmered she reached up to Jeffrey. "Jeffy."

"It's ok." Jeffrey assured her.

"I think I found a head," The doctor maneauvered the wand. "It doesn't look to be in a very advanced stage. He moved the wand. "There's another," He circled the grey mass with his finger.

"Two?" Jeffrey laughed. "No wonder you like to eat."

"And another, wait there's two here together."

"Four?!"

Elu beamed.

"There's one here and another here at the top." He retraced his movements to recount.

"Six?!"

"Elu Baby." Elu beamed and rubbed her stomach covering her hand in the gel.

"No Elu babies" Jeffrey coughed.

"ELU BABIES!" Elu chirped.

"I think it is just six They are rather active for being so cramped already." He offered Elu a towel. She looked at it and handed it to Jeffrey.

"Just six?" Jeffrey wiped off Elu's hand which was waving in the air and then her stomach.

"Elu babies." Elu seemed pleased with herself. Jeffrey helped her off of the tablet and pulled down her shirt.

"See the nurse at the front desk to make an appoinment for two weeks."

"Elu love Jeffy." Elu clung to his arm.

Jeffrey grinned and walked arm in arm with Elu to the desk. Giving her away might be harder than he thought. He almost hoped no one knew her.

"Now for clothes. I don't think you will fit into my shirts much longer."

Elu skipped out of the store in a new dress happily. The employees had been more that helpful. Jeffrey followed behind Elu with bags and bags of clothes and items he wasn't even sure what half of them did. So many special bras and fitted underware. He felt silly carrying it all. Elu probably would have been just as happy nude.

"Elu happy!" Elu stopped in the parking lot and twirled. She teettered a little and stopped.

Jeffrey fumbled in his pockets for his keys. He unlocked the doors of his Silver Z3 and loaded the car. The he led Elu to the passenger's side. She was surprisingly not scared if the car though she refused to wear a seatbelt. As big as he was imagining her getting she wouldn't be able to fit in his little car soon.

She was so happy. Jeffrey wondered why anyone would leave her on the beach like that? Was she attacked and she blocked out the memory? All her memories? And six babies? She was so tiny, could she handle that?

"Jeffy, I'm hungry." Elu pouted.

Well she learned fast that was for sure.

"There's food at the house."

"Ok." Elu giggled and rubbed her belly. "They move... Elu babies move." She thought for a moment. "Tickles!"

Jeffrey laughed. She was just like a child discovering new things. Wide-eyed and giggly.

They got to the house and Jeffrey made something for them to eat. Elu's fork went untouched as she ate. She had gotten as much food on herself as she did in her mouth. She grinned, cheeks stuffed with food.

"Swallow." Jeffrey couldn't help but laugh.

"Mffmmgh!"

Jeffrey put their dishes in the washed and turned on the TV. "Watch this while I get your stuff out of the car."

"Kay" Elu sat down in the middle of the floor and stared a the tv.

Jeffrey retrieved bag after bag. He made some room at the end of his closet and began putting the clothes in. The employee at the store suggested getting larger sizes or Elu would have to go nude, not that she would mind. Come to think of it, neither would he. Although Elu was tiny she wasn't going to stay that way.

"BELLY WASHERS!!" Elu shouted from the living room.

Jeffrey finished with her clothes and gathered the rest of the items he had bought. The employee had given him some pamplets and he bought a book or two. He also got some vitamins. As much as he tried not to admit it to himself he liked watching pregnant girls but he never knew how much was involed in it. He went into the living room and sat in his chair.

"Oh this is nice" Jeffrey turned one the the book sideways and cocked an eyebrow. He looked at Elu then back at the book.

"HUG ME!" Elu sprawled out on the floor and lay there.

"That's apealling." He flipped past a few very revealing pictures of a birth.

"Help!" Elu chirped. Her arms reaching up. "Need help, Jeffy!"

"Ok, I'm coming" Jeffrey got up. He pulled her up and into his arms.

"Mmm Jeffy warm." Elu wrapped her arms around him.

"Some needs a bath and a hair brush." He started to tiptoe backwards. "Come on."

"This will be fun." A little voice in the back of his mind chimed in.

In the bathroom Jeffrey turned on the water. He made sure it wasn't too hot. Elu watched the faucet seemingly amused. It was a large bathroom. The tub was rather large itself. A nice on in the corner with Jacuzzi jets. A porthole window above the tub was the only light in the room.

"Shampoo," He sat a bottle down. "Conditioner, Soap, Brush. There. Clothes off." How many men were out there paying a woman to take off their clothes and he had a beautiful girl perfectly willing to shed them in front of him.

Elu had pulled the dress up over her head and was now struggling to get it off. "Help." She sat still waiting for Jeffrey's assistance.

Jeffrey lifted the edge of the dress off her head. "Boo." He put the dress on the edge of the sink as Elu giggled. "Tub?" He pointed.

"Tub?" Elu pointed.

"Get in the tub."

"Get in the tub" Elu giggled.

"Fine." Jeffrey quickly stripped and got in the tub "There happy?"

"YES!" Elu nearly dove in.

"You evil little thing." Jeffrey laughed as Elu spashed in the water. "Soap?" He handed it to her.

"Soap!" Elu dropped in in the water. She moved closer to him and further down into the water. She turned over and put her head on his chest. Jeffrey struggled to keep his excitement down. She kicked lightly in the water. She put one hand on her stomach and used the other to keep herself straight. "Look." She chortled.

Jeffrey watched as a spot on her stomach bulged slightly then disappeared.

"They like water." Elu beamed.

"Right." Jeffrey's pupils dialated. "You need to wash your hair." He reached for the shampoo. He held the bottle in front of Elu. "Wash hair." She sat up and faced him. "Have you ever washed your hair?"

Elu splashed Jeffrey and giggled..

"Guess not. You're supposed to have babies, not be one."

"BABIES!" Elu shouted.

"Turn around." Jeffrey motioned with his hand. He hadn't washed another person's hair since his little sister's many years ago.

Elu turned around. She tilted her head back and looked at Jeffrey. Her blue eyes sparkled as she looked up at him smilling. "Kay?"

He began to wash her hair. The irridescent bubbles engulfed her hair as she let out soft grunts. She ran her finger along her hairline and inspected the bubbles.

"Bubbles," Jeffrey explained.

"Bubbles.." Elu said to herself. She quickly grabbed Jeffrey's hands before her could react. She placed them on her belly. "Bubble?"

Jeffrey felt her tight, firm skin under his hands. His first thought was a pull away, but he couldn't. Something small pushed agaisnt one of his hands. Now new thoughts ran through his mind like a high school track team. "Not a bubble" He whispered. "Beauty. Life." He succomb to his urges and stoked her stomach.

Elu purred with pleasure. Her still soapy hair started to fall in cords onto her shoulders.

Jeffrey's hands traveled upwards to Elu's tender breasts.

"Jeffy?!" Elu sounded displeased. She slid to the other side of the tub and stared at him. She crossed her arms over her chest and rested them on her stomach.

"Sorry?" Jeffrey offered. "You have to rinse your hair."

Elu slowly slipped under the water. She moved to the middle and deeper part of the tub. She turned her head a few and the soap disapated. She stood straight up in one quick movement and stepped out of the tub.

"I get the point" Jeffrey got out and hastily grabbed a towel. He took another and tossed it at Elu.

Elu scowled at the towel and stormed out of the room. She flew down the hall and into the bedroom, dripping water the whole way. She climbed onto the bed and sat in the center with her legs crossed.

"Elu?" Jeffrey called after her. "You're supposed to dry off with the towel I didn't mean anything. He ran dow the hardwood floors after her. Half way down the hall he slipped on some water and fell. Arms flailing, he landed flat on his back.

Elu scooted off the bed and peeked out the door. "Jeffy?" She walked into the hallway and stood over him. "Jeffy?"

"OW!"Jeffrey grumbled and looked up at Elu.

"Jeffy fall down go boom." Elu giggled and ran back into the bedroom.

"I'm glad you're amused." Jeffrey clammored up. He walk to the bedroom door and stood.

Elu sat on the edge of the bed. She was swinging her legs, fore her feet didn't reach the floor. "Jeffy silly," She giggled.

"What did I do now?"

"Jeffy NAKIE!"

"Well so are you." Jeffrey got a pair of boxers out of his dresser. He put them on and got another dress for Elu. "Dress yourself" He tossed it at her and went into the living room. Next>

"Jeffy!" Elu called "Lonely.."

"How could you be lonely?" Jeffrey replied nervously. He walked from the living room to the bedroom and stood in the doorway.

Elu frowned. "Lonely." She patted the bed next to her.

"It's a big bed." Jeffrey thought. He wasn't, by any means, afraid of sleeping in the bed with her. He was afraid of what he might do.

"Jeffy.." Elu pouted.

"Fine" Jeffrey climbed into the and lay with his back to her.

"Yay." Elu maneauvered over to him and got as close as she could.

He could feel her hot breath on his back. Her stomach pressed against his back and he could feel the movements inside. Elu purred and put her arm around him. Beads of sweat trickled down his skin.

A month past and Elu had grown in many ways. Closer to Jeffrey. And of course the obvious. Her fingers no longer touched in front of her. In fact there was a few inches between them. Remarkably there wasn't a stretch mark on her perfect skin. Her feet were only a memory. Her walk was alot slower and she tired easily, but not when eating. Jeffrey could sit at the table and watch her put away a plate of food and never touch his own. Usually she would finish his. Her vocabulary had grown but she still called him Jeffy.

Elu had comendeered all the pillows in the house to make herself comfortable. She had curled up in the middle of the bed amoungst the pillows. Jeffrey had gotten past his fear and was laying at her back with his arm around her as far as it would go.

"Jeffy move."Elu poked at Jeffrey's side. "Mooove"

"No mommy I don't want to go to school." Jeffrey mumbled.

"MOVE!" Elu squealed.

Jeffrey turned over and planted his face in a pillow.

"Argh" Elu climbed over him. When bother her feet finally reached the floor, she ran from the room.

The sun trickled into the bedroom window and across the floor. It flowed across the floor and me the bed. After a quick asent it climbed the hills and valleys of Jeffrey's still sleeping figured. He pulled the covers over his head reflexively and let out a loud snort.

Elu teetered back into the room. She stood for a moment and arched her back to compensate for the weight.

"That's not good you know." A voice mutterd from beneathe the covers.

"What?"

"Standing like that."

"Then carry me." Elu yanked back the sheets.

"I'm asleep," Jeffrey feigned snoring.

"Then I'll go make breakfast." She turned and skipped off as fast as her legs could carry her.

"Oh no you don't." Jeffrey sprung to his feet, chased her down the hall. The last time Elu had made breakfast, she had taken something from every jar, bowl, and pitcher in the fridge and put it in a bowl. Needless to say he went without breakfast that morning. But she was satisfied.

"How about cereal?" He circled Elu and walked backwards in front of her.

"Only cereal?" Elu forced her lips into a pout. "But I'm hungry." She rubbed the side of her stomach.

"I know," Jeffrey laughed. "You always are. What do you want?"

Elu thought for a moment. "Pizza!" She chirped.

Jeffrey regretted taking Elu out for pizza now. "You can't have pizza."

"Jeffy, I want PIZZA!"

"No one's open."

"But Jeffy," Elu shed a tear. "Move." She shoved past him and ran into the living room. She sat in a chair and cried."I just want a little pizza. YOU HATE ME! Elu hate jeffy, too. Babies hate Jeffy."

"Come on."

"Jeffy mean person."

"I am not. Fine. Let me get dressed and I'll find somewhere that has pizza AT FIVE AM." He kissed her on the forehead and went to get dressed.

"Babies want kisses too.. " Elu called.

"Ok." Jeffrey walked down the hallway buttoning his shirt. "Don't let me forget we have to go to the Doctor's later.

"Mk.."

He knelt down and through Elu's night shirt over his head causing Elu to giggle madly.

"Here.... and there. and there and there and there and one there."

Jeffrey lightly kissed each place.

"And Here." Elu puckered her lips and closed her eyes.

"Where?" Jeffrey pulled the dress off his face. "Oh." He stood up. Putting his hands on the arms of the chair he leaned over. Their lips met.

"Mmmff" Elu rubbed the side of her stomach.

Jeffrey pulled away. "Are they moving"

"Mmmhmm."

"Ok.. I know.. 'FOOD'"

Elu looked at Jeffrey with her sapphire eyes sparkling. "Yeah.. that's it."

"I'll be back." Jeffrey went out and locked the door.

"Unghhhh.. it itches.." Elu reached for a spot below her belly button. "Unnnn." No ammount of leaning or twisting could get her reach far enough. She looked around for something, anything, to help extend her reach. The TV remote, that might do it. "yay." She scratched the spot happily and sighed.

Now she was just bored. It wouldn't hurt if she went into the kitchen for a little snack. Easier said than done. She leaned forward but was stopped by her belly. She tried to push herself up, but she wasn't strong enough.

"Well foo." she gave up and played with the remote. The tv flipped on. Not much on at 5 am. Infomercials, a few cartoons. "Hamtaro?" Elu cocked her head. "mmmm ham.." Her stomach made an audible grumble. "Jeffy hurry up." She snorted.

She focused her attention on the tv again. "I want a sunflower seed." She scooted back in the chair and laid back. Her feet dangled off the edge far from the floor. She sighed and ran her fingers lightly across her stomach. It tickled. She giggled and watched as a small wave of kicks traveled across her belly.

"I HAVE PIZZA!" Jeffrey burst into the door.

"YAY" Elu's full attention was given to Jeffrey.

"Unfortunately I have to cook it."

"Then go." Elu demanded.

He disappeared into the kitchen and soon returned. Do you want to get our walk in now while it cooks?

"Ok...Help me up." She extended her arms to him.

"MMf.."

"Chew." Jeffrey stated.

Elu stuck her tounge out spitting stuff at Jeffrey. "You're just mad beacause I ate the pizza."

"Am not. I wasn't hungry. Plus you would have tried to eat my hand if I even touched it."

"So?" Elu yawned. "I'm sleepy again. I don't think they will let me sleep."

Jeffrey cocked an eyebrow. "Maybe I can help."

"You might.." Elu skipped off down the hall.
~*~*~*~*~*~

"Come on.. We'll be late for the appointment." Jeffrey stumbled out of the bedroom struggling to pull up his pants.

"Coming." Elu followed yanking a dress over her head.

Jeffrey ran out the door and unlocked the car. He pushed the passenger's side seat back as far as it would go.

Elu ambled out the door. She had gotten the dress over her head but that was as far as it had gotten. It's folds rested on her belly. "I'm ready!" she chortled.

"You are?" Jeffrey cocked an eyebrow.

"Yes?" Elu stopped. "....What?"

Jeffrey walked over and pulled down her dress carefully. " I don't mind... but I'm not sure the rest of the world wants to see that much of you." He smirked.

"Oh..." Elu though for a moment. "They'd like it." She nodded assuredly.

"You think?" Jeffrey laughed. He helped Elu into the car and the left for town. There was barely any room between Elu's tummy and the dash board. Using a seatbelt was deffinately out of the question, so Jeffrey made sure to drive carefully.

"Can we eat afterwards? I want Chinese. Noodles. Lots of noodles. And that stuff, the salty stuff"

"Soy Sauce"

"Yeah."

"And the things with sugar. And SUSHI.. Oh Oh and Chicken on a Steek."

"If I don't take you you'll kill me won't you?" Jeffrey laughed and tried to focus on the road.

"I might cry." Elu pouted her lip. "Pwease Jeffy."

"Maybe."

"Pwease Pwease Pwease." Elu unconsciously rubbed her stomach to quell the kicks stirring inside. She pouted again and winced when a baby kicked her in her bladder. It all went unnoticed by Jeffrey. He was concentrating on the road.

"Maybe."

"I have to pee."

"We're almost there."

"Hurry up." Elu squeaked.

Jeffrey pulled the car into the hospital parking lot. He ran around the car and hellped Elu out then ran to the entrance of the hospital to hold the door open.

Elu stood in place for a moment to make sure she had her balance .She walked forward slowly, wrinkling her nose more with each step. "Argh."

"The bathroom is right there." Jeffrey pointed out as Elu finally made it to the door.

Elu hastened her page. She pushed on a door.

"The other door." Jeffrey called from the reception desk.

Elu huffed and turned around.

A few moments later Jeffrey heard a familar call.

"Jeffy..."

He walked over to the door. "What?"

"Fix my dress."

"In there?"

"You want I should come out? Elu asked honestly.

"No.. hold on." Jeffrey looked around quickly and opened the door.

There Elu stood, tummy exposed as before. She grinned at Jeffrey. "Fix it."

"Might have to get you into bigger clothes soon." He pulled the dress down and kissed the top of her stomach. "Unless they plan on coming out soon."

"Nooo." Elu hugged her stomach several inches between her fingers. "Not big enough."

"I.." Jeffrey stopped himself. He wasn't sure if he should say what he thought at that very moment. "Come on." He turned sharply, and was face with, or rather chest to face with a woman. "Excuse me." He turned beet red and quickly left the restroom.

"Jeffy funny" Elu trotted after him.

"You made me go in there." Jeffrey pushed the elevator button.

"'m sorry." Elu sniffled.

The elevator door opened and Jeffrey walking in. "Don't be sorry."

"K.." Elu teetered into the elevator.

In the waiting room, Jeffrey instructed Elu to sit down while he signed her in.

There were already people waiting. One women looked twice Elu's age and was barely showing. Her husband sat nearby with a young child tugging at his sleeve. Another young woman seemed to desperately be clinging to her former figure. Her tight shirt tried to slowly crawl up only to be pulled down again. Elu hopped into a chair and scooted back so she could lean on the back of the chair. Her legs dangled off the chair and her tummy rested on her knees. She kicked her legs, grinning happily, and waited for Jeffrey's return. She was oblivious to the looks she was getting.

Jeffrey walked over and sat beside her. "You look happy."

The husband gave Jeffrey a look if pity before scolding his own child.

The couple and child were soon admitted. Another couple came into the waiting room. The man did not look much older than Jeffrey. The girl was the same age. She tugged at her maternity dress. It was well filled, Jeffrey thought. Almost as much as Elu when she first arrived. The man nodded for her to sit down while he checked her in. She did so, a seat down from Elu.

"Hello," She spoke.

"HI!" Elu was her normal bubbly self.

Jeffrey nodded in acknowledgement.

"You look like you are ready to deliver." She girl said matter-of-factly. "I've got to weeks, the doctors estimated. Twins"

"No." Elu nodded, confusing the girl.

"She's got a while to go."Jeffrey interrupted.

"Oh really?"

"Mmhmm..." Elu ran her hand along her tummy. "One.. two...three..."

The girl watched, puzzled. Her hand slipped onto her own stomach

"She's counting them" Jeffrey explained.

"Three?"

"Four.. five.." Elu paused for a minute "Six." She wrinkled her nose, then nodded sure of herself.

"Six? And I though two was too many. You must be happy." She addressed Jeffrey.

"Oh.. They're not mine."

"They're.. not?" She looked puzzled. Why would he be with her.

"Jeffy loves me." Elu looked up at Jeffrey. One almost expected little red hearts to float around her head.

Jeffrey looked at Elu. He finally admitted to himself. "Yeah. I do."

"Elu, No last name?" A Nurse called.

"Yeah here." Jeffrey stood up. He helped Elu up and they went into the examination room.

"You're doctor sent this over." The doctor handed Jeffrey a folder. "He said you need to act soon."

Elu sat on the examination table wide-eyed and grinning.

Jeffrey nodded. He glanced at Elu and smiled.

"Now Miss Elu, how are we doing today?" The doctor said as if her were talking to a child.

"Hungry." came the quick reply.

The doctor chuckled. "That makes sense. Ok you're going to have to lift your dress for me. So I can get to that six pack of yours."

Elu giggle and tugged at her dress exposing her pink orb of a tummy. Her navel was far past "popping". It was almost to the point of being flat again. "s'one up here." she rubbed under her breasts. "Keeps kicking my bones."

"Your ribs? Well I really can't help you out there. With so many, they're going to be cramped. And you're going to be uncomfortable."

"Foo." Elu sighed.

Jeffrey stood in the corner and fumbled through the folder. He knew what was in there. Test results. With the same results as all the others.

The doctor took the stethescope and put it on Elu's taut skin trying to pinpoint a heartbeat.

"Cold."

"You think the stethescope is cold?" He put it around his neck and placed his hands on her tummy. He was going to try to determine the postition of the babies. Elu's skin shivered under his hands. His hands traveled the circumference of her abdomen. "There's a head here. And I think one here. That's all I can make out besides limbs. You seem healthy and happy enough, I don't see any reasons for an ultrasound. At my best estimate you're a little over six months along. You'll be coming in soon, not for a check but probably a C-section."

Elu nodded, actually not having a clue what he meant.

Jeffrey's attention was finally diverted back to Elu and the doctor, "Soon?"

"Yes, well multiples usually come early. The more there are the sooner they run out of room. Elu, if you feel any pain at all tell Jeffrey and get here. You, Jeffrey need to care for her. If she wants something, you get it."

A grin spread across Elu's face. "CHINESE FOOD!" Next>

"Maybe I should call in and warn them." Jeffrey said jokingly.

"Why?" Elu puzzled.

"Nothing." he shook his head.

The resturant was like most of it's kind in their area. Not solely Chinese in influences. It was called Jade Dragon "Chinese and international resturant." The decor had a Japanese influence with Koi and Kanji scattered around.

"Welcome back Jeffrey... Elu." the hostess approached them. "I assume you will be having the buffet?"

"Yes." Jeffery replied.

"Buffet. Buffet. Lots of food Yay." Elu chortled.

"You table is this way." The hostess walked off.

"Go ahead. I'll go find the table." Jeffrey knew nothing would keep Elu from her food anyway, best to just let her go.

"Mkay." Elu bounced over to the bar and grabbed a plate. She peered under the glass at all the food. What that glass was for she didn't know. It didn't rain inside did it? "Mmm.. eggroll" She reached, leaning against the bar. She recieved a few kicks in protest. "mff.." She couldn't reach. "Jeffy.."

"Coming.." He walked to her side and looked down through the sneeze guard. "Problems?"

"Can't reach. Arms are too short."

"Are you sure that's the problem?" He put his hand on top of her belly and slid it down to the bar.

"Yes.. Exactly." She stuck her tounge out at him."Now, Get my food." She smirked.

"Yes ma'am." Jeffrey bowed slightly. The took the tongs and put an eggroll on her plate.

"More"

" Yes'm"

"Three."

"Of course."

Elu started giggling. "Noodles... Chicken on a stick..and that and that... "

When Elu was finally satisified with the pile of food on her plate she and Jeffrey returned to the table. She gave him her permission to go get something for himself to eat.

He returned to the table and Elu was nearly done with her food. Jeffrey picked at his plate and poked at things but rarely ate. Elu eyed Jeffrey's plate and tried to put on the cutest smile she could.

"You know this is a buffet, you don't have to steal mine."

"Then go get me more"

As soon as Jeffrey was gone from view, Elu grabbed his plate.

Jeffrey came back with another full plate for Elu. "Oh come on. Did you have to steal mine? I went to get you your own."

"You weren't eating it."

Jeffrey's voice became harsh "That's not the point. You can't just.." Jeffrey stopped in mid sentence. "You can't get your way... Don't you dare.."

Elu was already shedding tears.

"Don't.."

"I want to go home."

"I have to pay first."

"No I want to go HOME." She pushed the table into Jeffrey and squirmed out of her seat. She pushed her way past customers through the entrance and was out in the parking lot before Jeffrey could utter another word. She stopepd in the middle of the cars and stood there. "Where is home?"

Jeffrey hurredly paid the waitress, basically throwing money around as he tried to get out the door.

"Where is home?" Elu looked at Jeffrey swaying a little. "Where is home?"

"I'll take you home." Breathing heavily, Jeffrey stopped a few feet away from her slumping over.

"No." She turned away from him and crossed her arms over the stomach. "I want to go to my home."

"You remember where you came from?" Jeffrey took a few steps closer to her.

"Yes."

"Whay haven't you gone back.?"

"I can't.." She trailed off and turned to him. "Can't go back.... Not yet." She lowered herself to the ground. With her legs splayed out in front of her, her dress climbed to the point that would have had most women blushing.

"Why not?" Jeffrey dropped down beside her, barely holding himself up with his lanky arms.

"Not yet...M'sorry Jeffy."

"Why?" He slowly laid down beside her.

"Hurting you."

"You didn't . I did. But I could use a little help." He forced a laugh.

"Mm.... me too.."

It shouldn't have been hard to notice the two. The resturant was off a busy street. After several minutes Elu had stopped calling for help and just hoped some one would come for them. She knew what plagued her, but not Jeffrey. She kept one hand on her belly and the other She ran through Jeffrey's hair.

"Be safe."

(Oh yeah the confusion.) Next>

(Keep in mind.. This is probably way off medical procedure.. but then again. There has been worse things written.)

"Both of them in the parking lot?"

"Yes. She was sent to maternity. While he is in ICU until we get his records from his doctor."

"Jeffy!" Elu cried.

"Miss if you don't calm down we can't help you. Jeffrey is in another room."

Elu turned her attention, rather a glare, to the nurse long enough for another to approach with a syringe.

"Ow." Elu protested. "Don't."

"That should hopefully slow the contractions."

"Jeffy." Elu tried to jerk the sheets off her bed.

~*~*~

"Jeffrey?"

"Ungh?"

"You're getting worse, son. We need to find a donor."

"Mff.."

"As soon as possible."

Jeffrey narrowed his eyes at the doctor. He slowly moved his had to his mouth and pulled out the respirator. "Whereshe."

"She who?"

"The girl he came in with. I believe she's in maternity. Now put that back in we'll check on her for you."

~*~*~

"Miss please hold still." Several nurses tried in vain to draw blood and insert an IV.

"No more poking." Elu shoved her hand in the nurses face and pushed her back.

"What's going on here?" A Grey haired man peered over his glasses into the room.

"She's impossible Doctor."

"JEFFY!" Elu attempted to kick a nurse doing nothing more than lift her leg a little.

"Can someone see if "Jeffy" is well enough to come here and possibly calm her down?"

" I don't know doctor. He's in critical condition."

"We're going to have more people in critical condition if you cannot calm her down."

"Right Doctor." The nurse shuffled out of the room and down the hall. She went through a set of doors into the next ward and soon into a room. "Doctor Massey says we need to move this man to his companions room."

"But nurse, I don't think.."

"Neither do I, but we're having problems and he said lives could be lost if we don't."

"Take me." Jeffrey managed between heavy breaths. The nurses looked at each other and sighed.

"You get the bed. I'll get the equipment." The nurses worked quickly to transfer Jeffry to Elu's room. This was unheard of but they didn't want any harm to come to the girl or her children. That could bring bad publicity to their hospital.

A nurse led the procession down the hall. Another pushed the bed and the last pushed a cart of beeping equipment and the IV. They enetered the room to see Elu trying to fight off the doctor.

"No poking." Her sapphire glare pierced his skin.

The doctor turned around. "Ah Jeffrey."

"Jeffy?!" Elu perked.

"Yeah." Jeffrey made and attempt to sit up. "I don't know what they are doing but you better let them do it."

"Um ..ok..." Elu sighed. She seemed oblivious to anything that was happening to her. Without resistence the nurses finished taking Elu's blood very easily. She spent the rest of the afternoon gazing fondly at the IV bag. Jeffrey drifted in and out of slumber.

"A perfect match?"

"Their blood is the same type."

"We won't know for sure until we check."

"Is it safe for her?"

"It should be."

"If it saves him..."

The next day Jeffrey woke to a barrage of beeps and bright lights.

"We think we might have a match." the doctor said noticing Jeffrey's attentiveness, not actually sure if he would understand. "We just need a test. Increase his dose, we need him asleep"

Needless to say.. it's later.

"I want pizza!"

"But this is pizza."

"Is not pizza. PIZZA."

"Quick someone go to a pizza resturant, she's disturbing the other patients."

Jeffrey forced his eyes open. Elu sat in her bed. The nurses had given up trying to get the paper gown on her properly long ago and she now had one on backwards. Jeffrery hadn't noticed before. The opening meant for the back now allowed her ripe stomach to be center of attention.

Jeffrey watched as his eyes focused more. Elu's skin was still perfect. Not a stretch mark marred her pale skin. A buldge appeared drawing Elu's attention.

"Pizza soon." She cooed.

Elu had an infectious personality. She always seemed so happy about her situation. Jeffrey remembered one of his old school friends when she had her first child. She always seemed a bit miffed with the world and the slightest thing would set her off.

"Do I get some, too?"

"Maybe," Elu glanced over. "JEFFY!"

"I think so."

"Elu make Jeffy better."

"You did?"

"Mmhmm." Elu sighed and stroked her stomach. "Soon maybe. But not now."

Elu was a mystery to Jeffrey. From her origins to her constant happiness. A mystery, he now decided, he wanted to solve.

Soon after the nurse returned with a "real" pizza and all was well in the room. Jeffrey watched Elu giggle happily and consumed the entire pizza. Next>

After two weeks of being cooped up in their hospital room, both Elu and Jeffrey were ready to get out. The nurses were sure Elu was was going to need a C-section soon. But she refused to let them lay a finger on her unless Jeffrey said it was alright. She had done nothing but eat and grow. She didn't glow, she radiated like the sun.

Jeffrey was recovering nicely. He seemed to be having no complications. Just a rash that developed on his back the doctor attributed to laying too long. It seemed a bit silly. He and Elu left the hospital with a bit of help, ointment for his rash, and several numbers to call in case the was trouble.

"Now don't you let her out of bed." The doctor smiled.

"I won't!" Elu chirped.

Elu proved herself to be more mobile than many women carrying half her offspring. She had some problems not being about to see the steps at Jeffrey's porch but she had no problems making her way to the kitchen. With her exagerated gait, Jeffrey couldn't help but smile.

He followed as Elu teetered into the kitchen not sure what he could make her. He would have to go shopping tomorrow. Surely he could find something.

"FOOD!" Elu exclaimed. But not in the demanding manner Jeffrey would expect. He rounded the corner into the kitchen.

"M.. Mother."

"Jeffrey darling." His mother looked at Elu then back to him. " I heard you were in the hospital and had Pietro come over to make you a meal when you came back. I had no idea why but perhaps she?"

Elu had barely taken notice of the strange people in the house and had already started on the food.

"No Mother.. I.."

"Does she not get fed enough?" His mother continued without letting him finish. "She really is quite large for being so small. Jeffrey! Why didn't you tell me I'm going to be a grandmother."

Jeffrey could do no more than stare. Should he tell her the truth? Not that she would listen. She hadn't even bothered to ask her name.

"She's so big" His mother was always tactless. Luckily Elu wasn't one to care. She patted her stomach. "When is she due?"

"uh.."

"Of course.. any day."

"Oow." Elu protested between bites. Jeffrey was still dumbstruck.

"What? Is it "time"?" his mother asked.

"No.. kicked..hard."

"Oh.. well I have to be there , Jeffrey. You will call right? Maybe we can have a shower. You know you're little sister just got married and wants children. Jeffrey! Did you get married and not tell me?"

"Uh.."

"Never you mind. Come Pietro." She breezed out with the chef following.

"She smelt funny," Elu observed. "Babies didn't like it."

Jeffrey twitched and shook his head. "That's my mother for ya." He shrugged and sat down at the table and joined Elu in their meal.

"Good food." Elu beamed.

"Yeah? maybe I should hire Pietro."

"Yeah.. maybe tomorrow." Elu dropped her fork and rubbed her stomach contentedly. "..sleepy time."

Jeffrey smiled and helped Elu out of her chair. He was geniunely happy for the first time in quite a while. He almost felt like a horny teenager again. At a party on the heels of the head cheerleader into their parent's bedroom.

They quickly shed their clothes and helped each other into bed. He no longer denied in his mind what his heart had been telling him. He now felt the need to protect her from what put her in this situation.

Hold me.

They sat in the middle of his large bed. Elu leaned against Jeffrey with a contented sigh.

Hold me.

He no longer wanted to resist his urges. His hands roamed as far as they could across her skin. He wanted to worship her. The forbidden fruit.

She purred contentedly under his touch. She placed his hands on his and yawned.

Sometime soon.

"Are you ready?

"No"

"How did it happen?"

Elu sighed. "Don't know?"

Blessed.

He decided not to persuit it any further. Maybe it wasn't a pleasant memory. He shuddered to think at who would leave such an innocent person.
This is part of the original story I wrote close to five years ago. The ending got lost in various page misshaes and comupter failures. G was the one that actully saved this much. It's horrible. I can't stand to try to rewrite the ending because I can't read the story I think it's that bad. But it might interest someone.

And to go with it an old image posted on G's site [link]

Your "bad" is another person's "greatness!" :D I'm joking, but in all seriousness I found this easier to read than the average story on this site or many others. I'm not sure why, it just seems to flow more smoothly and not drag on. There are places I had to work a bit to understand what happened, but not too many of them. I've read printed books that were harder to follow.

The only thing I really don't understand about this story is how I didn't find it 10 years ago. It's so very much my kind of story. :)
